Incredible establishment. I come here at least once weekly & I’ve been here across seasons for coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and recently, even a New Year’s tasting menu. This place is incredible for a litany of reasons and my review will just scratch the surface. Food: I came for the the Cacio e Pepe croissant (RIP, bring this back please) and stayed for... well, everything else. The coffee is incredible (I get the pistachio latte at least once weekly) and I haven’t had a bad dish for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The menus span the gradient of baked goods & simple fried finger foods to complex & creative dishes (with fantastic wine pairings to accompany them.) The food is top tier whether you’re going small or big. Service: Not many places you can go to and see the same friendly faces each time you go. Someone must be doing something right because turnover here compared to other establishments seems minimal & service is warm, friendly, quick, and informed. Very chill and relaxed vibe, and every person I’ve interacted with has been nothing short of awesome. Atmosphere: I can’t begin to do the vibe this place has justice... the decor... the unpredictable but always spot on interesting tunes and music playing... it’s just a cool place with an incredible atmosphere. This is a go to spot we bring people who are visiting to and without fail it’s always a hit. I love getting some work done in the mornings where things are chill... you’ve got some light tribe called quest playing in the background, the restaurant is getting all the light from outside with the curtain wall windows, and everything and everyone is seemingly relaxed and hanging out. Then you get the transition into the awesome energy this place has in the evenings & in terrace season, where this place gets filled with energy that somehow feels intimate, and is absolutely thriving. We even did the New Year’s tasting menu recently and brought in the new year having a blast with the whole restaurant - customers and staff alike. Ate & drank & danced in and out of our seats with great mix of tunes. Overall & TL;DR This place is cool with awesome food, drink, service, and vibes.
Their focaccia (ricotta et miel) is delicious. Very hip place. Great for lunch and also dinner with an amazing selection of privately imported wine!
Fantastic restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming. It’s an excellent place to enjoy a good time with loved ones. They don’t take reservations. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Great vegetarian options. The pistachio tiramisu was heavenly. 10/10
Personally, I go for the coffee and bakery, which are of excellent quality and the service is friendly and relaxed, yet always cutting-edge. The sandwiches are delicious, as are the focaccia and Caesar salad. It's well worth coming to the terrace in the summer evenings. Lots of beautiful people!
This place is 100% worthy of the hype. The service is as phenomenal as the food. I took my partner here for a birthday lunch and it was a perfect, cozy spot. The restaurant is packed but not oppressivly so: the layout is great and it's packed because people are enjoying the experience and lingering. Friend: This is a place where you want to linger. First up, we got the focaccia, the daily special (i think it was a potato/tomato/chive w/ melted parm) and the honey, ricotta. The special was light, fluffy and savory. Honestly one of the best focaccia in the city, second, of course, to the honey ricotta. I will be dreaming about this focaccia. It was salty and sweet. Heavier than the daily special (likely because of the ricotta). I will be going back again to get that focaccia. Next up, our lunch mains: I had the roasted mozzarella with almond pesto. It was light, citrus -y and delicious. It wasn't at all what I was expecting! The mild cheese was a great pairing for the zesty pesto and the arugula! My partner got the cacio e pepe: it was perfect. It was creamy and peppery and the pasta was the perfect texture. A delightful classic. Finally: dessert. The only thing we weren't a fan of was the pistachio tiramisu. This was absolutely an 'us' thing and nothing to do with the dessert itself. It's a mild, rich, almost cheesecake pistachio marscapone layered with a espresso cake. It was a nice texture and a great flavor (just wasn't my thing). If you like less sweet desserts and love espresso: This will be your heaven. All in all - a great experience and i look forward to coming back to try the coffee and the rest of the menu!
Came here for lunch mid afternoon and it was busy but got seated right away. The patio outside is cute and dog friendly which h is number for the summer. It was a hot day in the sun and could have used some misters. The food was great. Tried the Cacio e pepe, fries , burrata and miso salad. The standout was the pasta , fries , and salad. The prices were very reasonable for food and drinks. Will definitely come back to try more of the menu.
One of my usual haunts, I take everyone I love there so we can share a great meal and leave satisfied! Yes the wait can be long for dinner time but I think it’s extremely worth it. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is amazing.
If you haven’t been there yet. What are you waiting for !?! A gem of a place !!! You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. And the place in itself is just so cozy.
